The partnership will extend across multiple MJH Associates franchises including CURE®, Rare Disease Communication®, MD Magazine® and Contagion®.

In making the announcement, Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of MJH Associates, said, “We are excited to announce this new partnership with the American Lung Association, an organization that has been on the forefront of finding a cure for lung diseases, providing resources to patients and caregivers, and raising public awareness about lung health. Together, we will advance and educate the lung disease community as we optimize patient outcomes.”

American Lung Association has led the fight for lung health for over 110 years. The mission of the organization is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research. Since 2014, the American Lung Association has led a successful public awareness initiative, LUNG FORCE, a nationwide movement to unite Americans against lung cancer and for lung health.

“Serving as the nation’s premier resource for lung health, the American Lung Association is pleased to partner with MJH to reach more patients, ensuring those living with a lung disease have science-based information to help them make informed decisions that might improve their quality of life,” said American Lung Association Assistant Vice President of Health Education Katherine Pruitt.

The Strategic Alliance Partnership program builds a community of advocacy groups, medical associations and medical institutions fostering collaboration and an open exchange of information for the ultimate benefit of patients and their families. CURE®, Rare Disease Communication®, MD Magazine® and Contagion® and various trusted organizations. During this collaboration, the American Lung Association will offer quality content, including research updates and management strategies to better educate patients, families and medical professionals about treatment options, emerging research and patient support groups.
