Ninth class girl raped by minor in Karnataka

HASSAN: In a shocking incident, a class IX girl was allegedly raped by another minor at a village in Sakleshpur taluk in Karnataka. The incident occurred Monday evening when the victim was returning home from school. 

Police said the accused minor was aided by his friends in luring the girl to a house in a secluded area where he raped her. The boy has been arrested along with one of his friends, also a minor.

Two other minors involved in the case are currently absconding.

The Sakleshpur Rural police have registered a case.

The accused were sent to a remand home after undergoing medical examination in Hassan. A search is on for the others.
