Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit three countries -- USA, UK and UAE -- from October 18 to 26. He will receive Golden Peacock award for Corporate Governance and Sustainability and will attend Institute of Directors (IOD) Distinguished Fellowship and Leadership award meeting in UK. Mr. Naidu is also scheduled to meet Foster + Partners during his three-day visit to UK.
Mr. Naidu, during his nine-day tour is aimed at meeting entrepreneurs to attract investments in Andhra Pradesh, finalising the designs for Amaravati Capital city, and sharing of latest technologies from other countries. The Chief Minister would hold bilateral meetings and discussions with business and political leaders during his tour.
Addressing a press conference at Secretariat near here on Monday, Government Advisor (communications) Parakala Prabhakar said that the Chief Minister would visit USA from October 18 to 20 and UAE from October 21 to 23.
In the last leg of his tour, he would visit United Kingdom for three days from October 24.
Mr. Naidu would attend a roundtable with CEOs of 10 companies. The Chief Minister would receive Golden Peacock award and IOD Distinguished Fellowship and Leadership award, he said.
Mr. Prabhakar said that the Chief Minister would meet Iowa Governor, Iowa State University President, Agriculture Secretary and others at USA.
He would attend Global Telugu Entrepreneurs Network meeting; interact with representatives of IT companies; visit virtual reality application centre; attend roundtable at research park; have dinner/lunch with Iowa Governor, he said.
At UAE, Mr. Naidu would meet Non-Resident Community and attend business leaders forum meeting.
