Karan Johar took to his social media profiles to announce his next project titled Kesari in which the director will be seen collaborating with Akshay Kumar. The film is all set to release on Holi 2019 and is based on the famous historical battle of Sarahgarhi.

Ranveer Singh, who is currently busy shooting for the last leg of his upcoming period war-drama Padmavati,shared his gratitude on his social media profiles after the release of the trailer on 9 October. Singh said that he could not personally respond to all the good wishes and compliments the way he usually does, which is why he is resorting to the medium of thanking everyone via a single post, as he is busy with the film.

The Vidya Balan-starrer Tumhari Sulu has got a new release date, and it is all set to hit the silver screen earlier than expected. The release date of the movie is now 17 November.

The producers of the reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) planned a special surprise for Amitabh Bachchan's 75th birthday on 11 October. The team released a special video showing students and teachers of Sherwood College, Nainital (from where the actor graduated) celebrating his birthday. The backdrop of the college was decorated with life- size posters of Bachchan, and students and teachers sang the birthday song. Bachchan's favourite guitarist Niladri Kumar played the birthday tune on his guitar.
