A musical extravaganza

Celebrated music director and playback singer Ankit Tiwari will perform on October 14, 7 pm onwards at Courtyard, Phoenix MarketCity. The ‘Ankit Tiwari – Live in concert’ is a part of the Phoenix festival.

Ankit Tiwari started his career by working on jingles and composing background scores for television programmes. His Bollywood venture as a music director began with the film ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ in 2010. He subsequently composed tracks for films like ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster’, the 2011 hit film in which he made his singing debut too.

He has received many awards for his work in movies like ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’ in which he has sung popular tracks like ‘Sun Raha Hai Na Tu’ and ‘Teri Galiyan’ respectively. Tiwari’s recent films were ‘Roy’, ‘Mr X’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’.
