Rahul Gandhi shakes a leg while on Gujarat campaign trail

NEW DELHI: Even in the midst of a gruelling campaign schedule and trading barbs with the BJP, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi took a few minutes to shake a leg with a group of tribals in poll-bound Gujarat on Tuesday.
A video shared by Congress party's official Twitter handle shows Rahul grooving to the beat of drums at a cultural programme in Chhota Udaipur. Drum in hand, he joined in the tribal folk dance 'Timli' and can be seen smiling and moving rhytmically to the music for a full two to three minutes.
Rahul is spearheading the Congress party's electoral campaign in Gujarat and this was the second day of his 'Navsarjan Yatra'. In the last two days, he has attacked the BJP government over a host of issues - from unemployment, corruption, GST, demonetisation and women empowerment.
Congress and the BJP have been engaged in a war of words as the assembly polls in Gujarat draw closer, though a date is yet to be announced for the high stakes election. While the BJP is keen to hold on to its stronghold, on the other hand, Congress is looking to make a comeback in Gujarat, where it has been out of power since 1998.
