US, UAE and UK in Naidu’s nine-day foreign itinerary

VIJAYAWADA: Aimed at attracting investors, adopting new technologies and finalising the iconic structures to come up in the capital city of Amaravati, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to go on a nine-day trip abroad.  He will visit the USA, UAE and UK. Starting on October 18, Naidu will wind up his foreign visit on October 26.As part of his foreign visit, Naidu will meet several prominent people in the fields of politics and industry and will take part in one-to-one interaction and group meetings with them, said Parakala Prabhakar, Communication Advisor to the government, on Monday.

Speaking to newsmen at the Interim Government Complex in Velagapudi, Parakala said that Naidu will visit New York, Chicago and Iowa in the US and meet the representatives of IT companies. 

He will participate in the Stakeholders Consultation Workshop involving top scientists, representatives of seed and agriculture companies to explain the Mega Seed Park coming up in Kurnool district. 

Naidu will also attend the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum round-table. He will also hold a discussion with the officials of Iowa University and attend the presentation ceremony of World Food Prize 2017.

In UAE, Naidu will participate in Business Leader Forum, hold meetings with representatives of Emirates National Bank of Dubai, Dubai National Air Transport Association, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.In the UK, the Chief Minister will inspect the designs of Secretariat, Assembly, High Court buildings being developed by the London-based Foster + Partners. Besides participating in the UK - India Business Council round-table meeting, the Chief Minister will interact with investors and receive the Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Governance and Sustainability.

Narayana leaves for London
Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana will visit London from October 10 to 13 on the invitation received from Foster + Partners, Master Architects for Amaravati Capital city. It  requested the Minister to attend an important workshop and project meetings being organised for the finalisation of designs for government complex  i.e., the Secretariat, Assembly, High Court and HOD building.
