Vistara announces 48-hour discount sale fares starting tonight

NEW DELHI: Vistara today announced discount sale offering fares as low as at Rs 1,149 in the economy class and Rs 2,099 in the premium economy.

"Bookings under the sale are open from 0001 hours Wednesday, October 11, 2017 to 2359 hours of Friday, October 13, 2017, for travel between October 26, 2017 and March 24, 2018. 15 days advance purchase is required," the airline said in a release.

"What better way for an airline to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with its customers than through a spectacular 'Festival of Flights'? Through this sale, our customers have one final opportunity this year to book their travel for the festive and holiday season at amazing fares. But they need to hurry, as seats are limited and are expected to sell fast!" Sanjiv Kapoor, Vistara's Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer was quoted in the relelase.

The airline said in the release that, under the sale, passengers can book Delhi - Chandigarh and Delhi - Amritsar for Rs 1,199 and Rs 1,299 respectively; Delhi - Srinagar for RS 1,699; Delhi - Leh, Delhi - Ranchi and Delhi - Mumbai for Rs 2,099; Delhi - Bagdogra for Rs 2,899; Delhi - Goa for Rs 2,999.
