Santhanam involved in a fistfight, gets injured

Santhanam is awaiting the release of his next Server Sundaram

Popular actor-comedian Santhanam was allegedly involved in a fight with a constructor over a land deal recently. According to media reports, both of them suffered injuries. The altercation was said to be over a land deal between the actor and the builder. Two others were also injured.

According to a report in Times of India, the actor had allegedly wanted to build a mall and had paid the advance for the same. After the deal fell through, he had asked the builder to return the money paid which had led to the tussle.

On the work front, Santhanam is awaiting the release of his next Server Sundaram. The film which was initially supposed to release on September 29 has been delayed. Helmed by Anand Balki, the film shares its title with the yesteryear Nagesh hit Server Sundaram. The Santhanam starrer has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Server Sundaram is bankrolled by Kenanya Films, and producer Selvakumar got the rights for the title from AVM production. After discussing with late comedian Nagesh’s family, the actor’s grandson Bijesh was also cast in the film.
