2017 Honda CBR650F launched in India at a price of Rs 7.30 lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new Honda CBR650F in India at a price of Rs 7.30 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The two-wheeler maker has also announced the bookings for the new motorcycle across the company's Wing World dealerships in the country. The price of the 2017 Honda CBR650F remains unchanged and gets new features in the form of a 41 mm Showa Dual Bending Valve type fork upfront which is claimed to be lighter and improves the performance of the motorcycle as compared to the previous model. The rear gets single-tube, mono-shock suspension unit with 7-stage spring preload adjustment and aluminium swingarm.

Powering the new Honda CBR650F is a 649cc, DOHC in-line, four-cylinder engine that produces 85 hp of maximum power at 11,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a new six-speed gearbox. The engine and head covers are finished in bronze. The company has also equipped the motorcycle with revised dual-piston Nissin front callipers and 320 mm dual hydraulic front disc brake. The rear gets a 240 mm hydraulic disc with a single-piston calliper and resin mould pads.

The Honda CBR650F is built on a steel diamond frame, which the company has further strengthened at the front and made it flexible. The motorcycle takes its styling cues from the 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade. The motorcycle features new clear-lens LED headlamp, LED tail lamp and sleek, aerodynamic fairing as well as specially designed air ducts. The new Honda CBR650F is available with a choice of new colour options, namely; Millennium Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
