IIT JAM 2018: Last date to apply extended to October 17

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released a notification regarding the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2018. Candidates who wish to appear for the same should note that the last date to apply for the exam has been extended.

“JAM 2018 ONLINE Application process has started from 5th September 2017. Last date for application submission is extended to 23:59 hours on 17th October 2017,” the institute said in a notice. The application process was previously scheduled to end on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 for admission to MSc (two-year), joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree and other post-bachelor’s degree programmes.

The exam will be conducted on February 11 next year in two session. The first session will take place from 9 am to 12 pm and will include questions for biotechnology, chemistry, geology and mathematical statistics courses. The second session will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm and will include questions for biological sciences, mathematics and physics courses.

Steps to apply for IIT JAM 2018:

Step 1: Go to the official website for JAM (jam.iitb.ac.in).

Step 2: Click on the link for the application forms which will be available from September 5.

Step 3: Register and enter your details in the fields provided.

Step 4: Download the application form and save a copy for further reference.
