Rajkummar Rao has had a pretty great year in terms of the quantity and quality of the films he’s been part of. He started his year with brilliant Trapped followed it up with average ‘Behen Hogi Teri’, highly entertaining ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and India’s official entry at Oscars, the much-loved ‘Newton’. Apart from this, Rajkummar is now all set for ‘Omerta’, a web series Bose: Dead/Alive’ and ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.’
While the release dates of ‘Omerta’ and ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’ is not known, the makers of ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana‘ just released its trailer.
The trailer starts off suggesting an innocuous relationship between two small town people who’ve met via a marital proposal arranged by their families, then takes a heavy twist, after the leading lady bails on him on wedding day. This leads to bait of vengeful hatred in the mind of Rajkummar’s character. Though not too original a story, the leading pair’s convincing acts in the trailer is sure to make the fair a compelling watch.
Directed by Ratnaa Shah, the film is slated for a November 10, 2017 release.
