The job
I love connecting with people; for me they are intrinsic and at the heart of all strategies. It is a source of immense satisfaction to be in a business like Amway which encourages and perpetuates an entrepreneurial mindset. Two key targets for me include increasing women’s participation in our business and encouraging micro-entrepreneurship within our entire ecosystem. I enjoy the ‘fast, focussed and fun’ culture at Amway.
I hate it when people don’t understand that sometimes hard decisions are the right decisions or don’t understand that sharpening one’s own saw is the most important commitment for professional and personal growth.
The Weekdays
I don’t believe in the concept of work-life balance — passion and purpose is what define our lives. I start my day early with a morning walk culminating with glass of chia seeds and turmeric milk while reading some business news.
I am a people’s person and believe in always staying connected. I constantly work towards nurturing relationships and challenging my team. Customer experiences, digital innovations and youth are trending, and the only growth drivers across industries and organisations. I live by and propagate the adage ‘Be-bright, Be-brief, Be-gone’.
I believe in doing at least one kind act every day to contribute to the society and truly believe in the ‘each day is a new day’ philosophy.
The Weekend
On weekends, I like to update myself with the latest technologies and apps, my daughter being my teacher and guide. Cooking is one of my passions and I like to update myself with new healthy recipes and try them too. I like to relax with family by watching my son play golf, learning new strokes in swimming, watching Netflix and reading the latest Harvard Business Review articles.
The Toys
Pad and iPencil pack productivity and fun.
The Logos
I like PENS from Schneider Express, the Shinola Detroit — Argonite 5021 watch, BMW X5 car, Versace Eros perfume and eyewear from Bvlgari. For formal wear, I prefer Zara and Nike for my sportswear.
