The trailer of Star Wars Episode VIII, titled as ‘The Last Jedi’ has finally released and it seems like the force has unleashed. The makers and Lucasfilm unveiled the trailer on YouTube and it is surely going take fans on a magical ride.
As the trailer was released, Rian warned the fans of the franchise film to avoid it if they want to keep the excitement around the movie intact. The trailer opens with Supreme Leader Snoke telling Han Solo and Princess Leia’ son Kylo Ren, “When I found you, I saw raw, untamed power. And beyond that, something truly special.” The trailer goes on to focus on Daisy Ridley’s Rey and the search for her identity. The trailer is bound to evoke emotions and throw a lot of fan theories for a toss, for on one hand, we see Luke Skywalker afraid of the strength of force Rey is capable of wielding and on the other, we see Kylo Ren extend a helping hand towards her. The trailer looks intense, dark and some scenes are a visual treat for the eyes.

Starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Andy Serkis among others, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is directed by Rian Johnson. This will be late Carrie Fisher’s last outing as General Leia Organa. The cast and crew were wrecked by tragedy with the death of Carrie Fisher in December 2016, and the production was dealt the challenge of finishing reshoots and post-production without one of their stars. The shoot of the film was wrapped up in September after 19 months long schedule.
The film releases on December 15 this year worldwide.
