RJD seeks probe into 'miracle growth' of Jay Shah's company

Opposition RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari on Tuesday dared Prime Minister Modi to order an investigation into the alleged transactions made by the firm owned by Jay Shah, the son of President

"It is a time of test for Modi whether he will order a probe or not into transactions made by the firm owned by Jay Shah," Tiwari, Vice President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), told the media here.

Tiwari, considered close to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, said: "Where is Modi, who had said 'na khaaoonga, na khane dunga'? Entire country is watching him whether he will order an investigation or not. Rise of Amit Shah's son's company is like a miracle," he said.

"RJD demands of PM Modi to order a probe into how a loss making company of Amit Shah's son till 2014 turned into a profit making one and how its net profit saw an unprecedented jump after that... It is surprising," Tiwari said.

He also pointed out that no less than a senior Union minister came forward to defend Jay Shah's company and the entire is now trying to downplay the issue.
