Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was moved to tears on the sets of a recent Kaun Banega Crorepati episode. What may seem like another fan-made video was not really it but a special video made by the crew at KBC for commemorating Big B’s 75th birthday which falls on the 11th of October. The video was a peek into Big B’s childhood days, a major part of which was spent at Sherwood College of Nainital, his alma mater. As reported by TOI, this video was a surprise planned by the crew at KBC to pay a tribute to the legendary actor on his special day.
The video was shot at the Sherwood College where everybody came forward to wish their star alumni a very happy birthday. The video captured warm wishes for the actor from the students and the faculty of the institution. A cake was cut by the members of the institution in order to celebrate the actor’s big day and the video also captured glances of Big B’s favorite areas on the campus, reported TOI. Not only did the students and faculty wish the star but they were also heard cheering for him in the background. The heartfelt wishes in the video moved the charismatic actor to tears.
Though, the video was not the only surprise that had been planned for him. A renowned musician, Niladri Kumar, showcased a special performance for the star on the sets of KBC. According to TOI, Big B did not just thank everyone but also shared a few beautiful memories from his childhood. The entire set of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is one of the most-watched shows on Indian television, shone bright with smiles.
