India suffered a heartbreaking loss to Colombia in their Group A contest of the FIFA U-17 World Cup at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Monday night. Juan Penaloza opened the scoring for Colombia when his brilliant strike went into the net in the 49th minute. Jeakson Thounaojam’s header equalised for the hosts in the 82nd minute but the celebrations did not even last a minute as Penaloza’s second goal sealed the game for Colombia. India had also lost their opening game 0-3 to the United States of America on October 6. This is Colombia’s first win of the event after also losing their opening game to Ghana 0-1.
