BJP will achieve historic victory in Lok Sabha bypolls in Ajmer

Alwar: Chief minister Vasudhara Raje on Monday said that BJP will surely achieve historic victory in Lok Sabha by-polls to be held in Ajmer and Alwar and also in state assembly bypolls election in Mandalgarh.

She said addressing the party leaders in its working committee meeting held in Alwar. She said that winning by-polls in Dholpur last year was historic and now the party will win upcoming Lok Sabha and state assembly elections.

She appealed to the party workers to remain "ek-jut, ek-mukh and ek-roop (united in all senses)" to achieve the goals in upcoming elections.

BJP is completing its fourth anniversary of forming its government in the state on December 13. She appealed to the party workers to go to their respective areas and talk about the achievements of the state government among the people of their areas.

She launched scathing attack on her rival political parties saying, "They do politics in service and we do service in politics." She said that this is the main difference between the workers of rival political parties and her own party.


Talking about successful organisation of Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet in Jaipur and Kota, she said that the government is working to make farmers financially independent. Now, it will be organised in Udaipur soon.


She said that Rajasthan topped among the states by giving Rs57,000 crore interest-free agriculture loan to the farmers. She said that it will further increase to Rs63,000 crore by March 2018. She anticipated that it will further increase to Rs75,000 by next year. She said that individual accident insurance cover has been increased by 12 folds to the amount set during Congress regime. Now, it has increased to Rs6lakh.


She thanked to the leaders in the Centre including Prime Minister and party head Amit Shah and finance minister Arun Jaitley to respond to her appeal by bringing down tax on certain good and services which belong to the state. She said that on her request, GST council has reduced taxes on certain goods and services.
