Put up portraits of President, PM, Goa schools told

PANAJI: The state education department has instructed all schools to put up portraits of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The directions were issued following a recent meeting of CM Manohar Parrikar, who is also the education minister, with the heads of government departments.
There are a total of 1,748 aided and unaided schools in Goa, of which about 790 are government primary schools, 350 are high schools and over 50 are higher secondary schools, besides several other private schools.
