WWE Hell in a Cell saw yet another moment of madness! Jinder Mahal continues his reign as the WWE Champion after he beat Shinsuke Nakamura. Mahal extended his stay at top after he got the better of the Japanese fighter who remains without the title even after a show of style.

It was a fight that saw Nakamura dominate Mahal for the better part. He had the better offence which is always difficult to handle for any wrestler. Even Mahal found it difficult to tackle but once he understood it, the WWE Champion decided to use his strength to get the better of Nakamura who always seemed to be ahead of Mahal.

At one moment, Nakamura had The Modern Day Maharaja on the ropes after pulling off an attack with knees. Nakamura almost destroyed Mahal with a knee drop off the apron but the Singh brothers, who were partrolling the ringside, interferred and saved Mahal of a potential loss. This gave a breathing space to Mahal and he came out with some moves including the Khallas. Nakamura, however, was not bowing down easily.

Nakamura should have got the win and the title when he landed a Kinshasa on Mahal’s head. But, the Singh brothers — Sunil and Samir — distracted the referee and allowed Mahal to recover and touch the ropes. That was the last time Mahal needed the help of the Singh brothers.

He dodged a Kinshasa attempt later. That attempt landed Nakamura knee-first into the turnbuckle and Mahal pulled off a Khallas and he went for the countdown to retain a title he has held for a long time now.

Nakamura would be devasted to lose the chance to win the Champion belt ever after so much hard work while for Mahal, there is yet to be a wrestler who can defeat him to claim the belt.
