GATE 2018: Registration ends today, check latest updates here

GATE 2018 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati

The registration date of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 will close today. Candidates have time till 8 pm and in order to fill the form, they can, therefore, visit the official website – gate.iitg.ac.in.

In some latest updates posted by the exam conducting body — IIT Guwahati — the mandatory verification of email address and mobile number is relaxed. The request for corrections in the application will be entertained when the candidate sends a request email (from the email ID registered with GOAPS) to the respective zonal GATE office.

After getting requests from aspirants, IIT Guwahati has to extend the registration date from October 5 to October 9.

Application fee: It is Rs 1500 for general category, female and SC/ST/PwD category has to pay Rs 750 while international candidates have to submit $50.

Exam date: February 3 to February 11, 2018 and the entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will take place in the forenoon from 9 am to 12 pm, while the other session will take place in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.
