In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Latha Venkatesh, Surabhi Upadhyay and Anuj Singhal, Udayan Mukherjee of CNBC-TV18 shared his reading and outlook on the market.

We are sort of consolidating now in some kind of a trading range, and as long as the global backdrop remains as benign as it has been, chances are we will keep coming back to retest the top end of the range once again, he said.

The market is a little worried about sectors like telecom and even power at this point in time, he added.

India story is looking a bit wobbly with the kind of growth numbers we are getting. In contrast, global growth is looking very strong, he said.
