The police used water cannons to disperse protesters during the BJP's Jan Rakhsa Yatra (peoples protection march) outside CPI(M) office in Delhi.

BJP's Jana Raksha Yatra is being held in Delhi over killings of BJP and RSS workers in Kerala. Union Ministers V K Singh and Kiren Rijiju were also present.
Meanwhile, BJP workers and leaders, including Bandaru Dattatreya, were detained during Jan Raksha Yatra in Hyderabad.

The party has planned to take out the Jan Raksha Yatra every day from every state capital till October 16.
BJP Chief Shah is also scheduled to lead the march on a concluding day later this month in Thiruvananthapuram.
Kerala, especially the volatile Kannur district, has been witnessing a series of political killings and counter-killings of CPI(M) and RSS-BJP activists.
