Moong dal price rose and gram dal price fell today in the wholesale foodgrain market here.
On the opening day moong dal was up by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.7,200 from its closing rate Rs.7,000.
However gram dal price declined by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.7,000 from Rs.7,300.
Prices of thoor dal,urad dal,sugar,wheat,maida(90kg) and sooji (90 kg) opened at its Saturday's closing rates.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,500, Urad Dal Rs 8,200, Moong Dal Rs 7,200, Gram Dal Rs 7,000, Sugar Rs 4,000, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
