The Falls Count Anywhere Hell in a Cell encounter between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens was meant to settle the months of animosity between the two athletes. Living up to the hype, the match began outside the stell structure as both the athletes couldn’t wait to get their hands on each other. But soon the duo moved into the cell and used every possible tool to annihilate each other. While Owens put Shane-O-Mac through steel steps, the Smackdown commissioner used trash cans and tables to bash Owens.

The action once again shifted outside as MacMahon had his tricks up his sleeve. His first attempt at putting Owens through the table failed as Owens quickly moved away. The action then shifted to the top of the cell as both the athletes climbed the 20-foot structure to battle. After a terrifying battle at the top, it was McMahon who threw Owens from the side of the cage onto the commentator’s table below.

When finally McMahon attempted a repeat of his feat at last year’s Wrestlemania, it was Sami Zayn who made a dramatic entry and saved Owens from McMahon’s breathtaking dive off the cell.

Both the competitors were battered and bruised extensively. After the fall from the top of the cell Shane seemed gravely injured but thankfully flashed a thumbs-up as he was being taken to the hospital. Owens though did manage to stand up on his feet and was able to walk off with a little help.
