Four persons have been arrested for allegedly threating a slain BJP leader's family to withdraw the murder case against them, police said today.
Raja Balmiki, a local BJP leader, was shot dead at Khatoli town on April 5, they said.
Babulal, Balmiki's father, complained that the accused were pressuring him and his family to withdraw the case against them or face dire consequences, an official said.
On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused and four persons - Raju, Gaurav, Vipin and Danish - were yesterday arrested in this connection, the police said.
