The cast of Gautham Karthik’s next film which will see him starring alongside his father Karthik, is getting increasingly star-studded by the day.

With Regina Cassandra becoming a part of the film last week, it’s now confirmed that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar too has been roped in for this yet-to-be-titled film. Apparently, the actress will play the role of a strong, independent woman who runs an organisation for women rights and safety.

Bankrolled by Dhananjayan under his Creative Entertainers and Distributors banner, the film, which will be entirely shot in Chennai, will have its first schedule commencing from November.

The film is said to be based on the bond between a father and his son and while Karthik is said to be playing a government employee, Gautham will play the role of a boxer.
