Mizoram Police have seized 12 kg of Pseudo-ephedrine, worth around Rs 1.20 crore from Champhai town near Mizoram-Myanmar border and arrested two persons in this connection.
Police today said the drugs was seized on Saturday.

Pseudo-ephedrine, legally manufactured in India, is a precursor for clandestine manufacture of Methamphetamine tablets in the laboratories in Myanmar, according to law enforcement agencies.
Crores of rupees worth of Pseudo-ephedrine had been seized in the north eastern states, especially those sharing international border with Myanmar.
