Nadigar Sangam's 64th general body meeting

Tamil Film Producers Council’s President and Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal said that actors should come forward and voice out against the local body entertainment tax.

At Nadigar Sangam's 64th general body meeting, Vishal said: “Actors in the industry should talk about the ongoing double taxation issue. Tamil cinema will be saved only if TN Government abolishes local body entertainment tax. Our industry is already struggling with various issues including GST and piracy”.

Meanwhile, a crucial meeting between Tamil film industry representatives (comprising producers, exhibitors and theater owners) and TN Government is scheduled to happen today on the new ticket price, local body entertainment tax, and piracy.
