Cops receive 18 complaints about job frauds

GUNTUR: Guntur Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu has cautioned the unemployed youth to inform them about job frauds. After the rural SP’s announcement, the unemployed youth came forward to lodge complaints against fraudsters from various places in rural district limits.
According to sources, 18 complaints have been received by Guntur rural police against job frauds and the officials have started investigation.

The fraudsters had collected Rs 50 lakh by promising different posts to unemployed youth. The SP said some fraudsters collected Rs 8 lakh from police constable aspirants promising them jobs without physical and written test.

The SP further said that they received another complaint from the unemployed youth that some fraudsters collected Rs 4 lakh by promising to provide jobs at temporary Secretariat.
Speaking about other job frauds, the SP said that fraudsters had collected Rs 2.5 lakh for VRO posts at Guntur Collectorate; Rs 6 lakh for Railway department LDC posts; Rs 2 lakh for gang men posts in Railway department; Rs 6 lakh for UDC post in Endowments department; Rs 2 lakh for Group-2 posts, Rs 2.5 lakh for operator post at APSPDCL and Rs 15 lakh for jobs in abroad.

Guntur Rural SP called upon the unemployed youth not to fall into trap of fraudsters. “After thorough investigation, the police department will open the history sheet against fraudsters.
