Raaj Kumar's career spanned over four decades. He was not only seen in the Oscar-nominated 1957 film Mother India but also in over 70 other Hindi films. Raaj made his debut with the 1952 film Rangeeli and is known for his roles in Nausherwan-E-Adil, Paigham, Dil Ek Mandir, Waqt, Hamraaz, Heer Raanjha, Maryada, Lal Patthar and Pakeezah among others.
