ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) During a visit to Puerto Rico to survey the damage from Hurricane Maria, a man confronted Vice President Mike Pence to tell him he's angry with the federal response. Pence told the man he understood his frustration and said the federal government is committed to the island's recovery and would be there for the long haul. A reporter also asked Pence for clarification on President Trump's recent "calm before the storm" comment to which the vice president responded, "I would just refer you to the White House on any exposition on that comment."
