BSNL Recharge: At Rs 429, Get 90 GB Data, Unlimited Calls For 3 Months

BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is offering 90 GB or gigabytes of mobile data for 90 days at Rs 429. Launched in September, state-run telecom company BSNL's recharge pack or STV (special tariff voucher) of Rs 429 offers 1 GB data per day for a validity period of 90 days, according to its website - bsnl.co.in. BSNL's Rs 429 STV will include free voice calls (local and STD) and is not available in the Kerala circle, the telecom company noted.

The Rs 429 recharge offer from BSNL comes at a time when the telecom industry is seeing strong competition led by aggressive mobile data pricing by new entrant Reliance Jio, the provider of telecom services under brand Jio.

Termed as a "voice and data centric plan" by BSNL, the Rs 429 pack offers unlimited voice calls from the home LSA (local Service Area) to any network for 90 days, the telecom company said on its Rajasthan, Kolkata, Punjab and North East circle websites.(BSNL's recharge pack of Rs 429 comes with unlimited voice calls for 90 days, according to its Kolkata circle website)

"BSNL introduced Voice & Data Centric Plan 429 under prepaid mobile service with Unlimited Voice to any network and 90 GB data (1GB/day) for 90 days," BSNL said on its North East circle website.(BSNL launched its "voice and data centric plan 429" in the Rajasthan circle on September 4, 2017)

BSNL Laxmi offer

With Diwali just around the corner, BSNL has announced a new scheme offering 50 per cent extra talk-time along with full talk-time on select recharge packs. A limited-period scheme, BSNL's Diwali 'Laxmi' offer will open from October 16 to October 21, 2017, according to its website - bsnl.co.in. Under BSNL's Laxmi offer, BSNL prepaid users buying a recharge of Rs. 290 will get a talk-time or talk value of Rs.435 during the six-day period, BSNL added.

"50% extra than Full Talk Time on Top-Up of Rs.290/390/590 (e.g., Talk Value of Rs. 435 will be given on the Top-Up of Rs. 290)," BSNL said.

BSNL Rs 249 recharge pack

(BSNL offers unlimited BSNL-to-BSNL calls and 1 GB of data per day for 28 days at Rs 249)

Under a separate limited-period scheme, BSNL is offering unlimited on-net (BSNL-to-BSNL calls) local and STD calls along with 1GB of mobile data per day for a validity of 28 days at Rs.249, according to its website. BSNL's promotional STV or special tariff voucher of Rs. 249 is available till October 25, 2017, it said.
