The AIADMK government has been delivering 100% on its duty to provide welfare measures across the State, said chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Speaking at various events in Salem district on Sunday, EPS said that his government was in touch with public across the state and based on their needs, schemes are prioritized and implemented.
"All your demands in the past were informed to Amma (late chief minister J Jayalalithaa) and fulfilled. We will continue to fulfil your requests and requirements," he said referring to the petitions submitted by the public. "Not just the requirements of Edappadi, or Salem district, we will strive to fulfil the requirements of the entire State,'' he said.
At a function near Edappadi bus stand, the chief minister said Rs 20 crore has been allotted to renovate village temples across the state.
Addressing the gathering at a government function in Vanavasi located in his home constituency Edappadi in Salem, where he laid foundation stone for a government polytechnic and a B.Ed college, he said institutes would start functioning in 2018. He said that a long pending demand of an industrial estate has come to fruition at Ettikuttaimedu.
