Adnan Sami, the 46-year-old singer who renounced Pakistani citizenship to become an Indian in 2016, is all set to perform on the banks of Srinagar's Dal Lake today.

Sami spoke to India Today ahead of the big event.

"I'm super excited, first of all, for being in probably one of the most prettiest, divinely blessed, cities of the world...truly heaven on earth," he said.

Adnan Sami's special concert has been organised by the Union Home Ministry and the Jammu and Kashmir government.
