BHOPAL : A 5-year-old girl died of consuming poisonous substance at her home in Jamusar Kalan village under the limits of Bairasia police station on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Devika Mehar, daughter of Kanchan Singh Mehar.
According to police, the girl was playing inside the house when she accidentally consumed poisonous substance after which she started vomiting. Her parents rushed her to a nearby hospital from where she was referred to Hamidia Hospital. An hour after treatment, doctors declared her dead.
