Actor Nitinsathyaa is foraying into production with his banner Shvedh Group and his first project will star his friend Jai in the lead.

Talking to CE about the film, the Chennai 600028 star says, “It’s too early to talk about the project, but what I can disclose is that the film will be directed by Pichumani who has worked as Venkat Prabhu’s co-director. Bobo Shashi (of Kulir 100° fame) will be composing the music and Praveen KL will handle the editing.”

He adds that Aravind, who handled the cinematography for Pandigai, has been roped in. “Reba Monica John, the female lead in the Malayalam film Jacobinte Swargarajyam, is the heroine, and will make her debut here,” Nitin says.

While one would expect a laugh riot from this collaboration, the young producer surprises us by saying, “It’ll be an action film shot with Hollywood sensibilities. We’ve completed 25 per cent of the film in just ten days. The next schedule will commence on Thursday and will be finished by the end of this month. We’re planning to release the film by mid February.”

The film has a number of well-known faces. “We’ve got Robo Shankar, Ilavarasu sir and Mime Gopi on board. I’m not acting, so I can focus on the production of the film,” says Nitin.
