Ujjain : A Finland based couple has adopted a five-year-old girl from ‘Matra Chhaya’ orphanage run by Sewa Bharati. Manager Anurag Jain informed that Kauko Tapio and his wife Katja has completed all the formalities of adoption and will be taking girl Shivani with them in the month of October. Matra Chhaya had registered Shivani with Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA).
Six months ago another girl Munni was adopted by a Spanish family from the centre. Shivani’s adoptive parents sent her a message with photo album showing her new home and country. Shivani will leave for Delhi in some days and from there she would be taken to Finland by her new parents.
Shivani was found abandoned outside the civil hospital on May 7, 2015 following which Dewasgate police handed over the child to Matra Chhaya. After her registration with CARA, Matra Chhaya received a call confirming her adoption by a Finland family. Jain informed that other inmates of Matra Chhaya are very happy about her future life. Shivani is currently a student of class I at Saraswati School.
