The MBA department of Ethiraj College for Women organised ‘Paradigm’, a national level HR management meet, recnetly. Students from 35 colleges participated. The highlight was the hunt for the Best CEO.
Participants were put through three rounds —to interpret a picture provided to them, perform a role during operational exigencies and handle multiple tasks as they were put under a stress interview by the judges. One of the judges, Malini Saravanan, deputy GM, HR, The New Indian Express, said the basis of management rested on listening.
“You should come to the forefront instead of preferring to languish at the back,” she said and added students must learn to overcome difficulties by experience.
