
Famous movie critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh on Saturday tweeted about the box office collection of Saif Ali Khan starrer Chef movie. Taran Adarsh tweeted that Chef has a shockingly low start. “Need to witness massive growth on Sat and Sun to sustain,” Adarsh tweeted. Saif Ali Khan starrer Chef has collected Rs 1.05 crore on box office on day 1 (India biz), Adarsh confirmed. Chef was released on October 6. Chef is the Indian remake of hit Hollywood film of the same name.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment, the movie also stars south actor Padmapriya and child artiste Svar Kamble.
The original American comedy drama, that released in 2014, was written, produced and directed by Jon Favreau.
The film revolves around the life of a professional chef, who quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant, to launch a food truck with his friend and son.
Earlier, the release date of Saif Ali Khan starrer “Chef” had been postponed to October 6. According to a statement by the makers, the movie which was earlier scheduled to release on July 14, will now hit the theatres in October.
