Bhashyam Public School bus crashes into field at Sattenapalli on Friday | Express
GUNTUR: Nearly 50 students of Bhashyam Public School narrowly escaped a bus accident at Sattenapalli in the district on Friday.The bus crashed into farm lands after the driver tried to overtake an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Guntur-Piduguralla bus near Food Corporation of India godowns of Sattenapalli and lost control over the vehicle.
The students had boarded the bus at Dugubandla, Nagavaram and Vennadevi villages to reach Sattenapalli town.One student named P Ashok, studying in Class IX, received injuries and 50 students narrowly escaped. The Bhashyam School students alleged that the driver’s reckless driving led to the accident. Sattenapalli Rural SI Nazeer Baig said rash driving by the driver caused the accident. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
