BHUBANESWAR: THE Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will run via Sambalpur once a week shortly. This has been confirmed by Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal. In a letter to Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, Goyal said, “We will shortly start running Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (22811/22812) via Sambalpur once a week.”
Earlier, Pradhan had written thrice to former Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on the issue.
Incidentally, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had raised the issue with Goyal during his recent visit to Delhi. Goyal had informed the Chief Minister that the Ministry has already accepted the State’s demand.
