"4:30 pm never looked like this."

That's how one Twitter user described the overcast sky that loomed above Mumbai's high-rises earlier today, its sombre palette streaked with bolts of lightning. Rain lashed the Maharashtra capital again on Friday afternoon, and many Twitterati posted photographs of the weather.

Maximum City has already witnessed torrential rains twice this year - in late August and mid-September.

There have been no reports yet of any disruptions in road and rail traffic.
