Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan, the annual musical extravaganza from the All India Radio (AIR), will be held tomorrow at 24 places across the country, featuring around 65 eminent artists.
The AIR is organising the event since 1954, enthralling listeners with Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, besides genres of light and folk offering.
Morning concerts for Hindustani classical music will be held at Jammu and Guwahati, the AIR said in a release.
Evening concerts for classical music will be held at 17 places, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Light and folk music concerts will be held at five places in the evening at Mathura, Rajkot, Jodhpur, Warangal and Puducherry.
The AIR will also broadcast the concerts on its channels from November 4 till December 15.
