BENGALURU: Energy Minister D K Shivakumar appeared before the Income Tax officials on Thursday. The minister, according to sources, was summoned in connection with the raids carried out on his properties during August this year.

The minister, who arrived at the Income Tax office of Karnataka-Goa region in the morning, was questioned for more than an hour. It can be recalled that the raid on the minister — when he was harbouring Gujarat MLA’s set to vote for Gujarat Rajya Sabha polls — had kicked up a political storm.
The raids had lasted for three days and were held in multiple locations across the country, including New Delhi.
