Vykuntapuram people hail TTD plan of CM N Chandrababu Naidu

GUNTUR: Villagers of Vykuntapuram and All-India Panchayat Parishad national secretary J Veerajaneyulu welcomed AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to build Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Krunchagiri Hill of Vykuntapuram of Amaravati mandal in Guntur district.

The chief minister had expressed his opinion during the review meeting of APCRDA at Amaravati and the Tirumala Tirupathi Desavasthanam (TTD) proposed to construct a temple at capital region of Amaravati with an estimation of Rs 100 crore.

The villagers and Veerajaneyulu requested the government to construct the temple at hill top of Krounchagiri of Vykuntapuram village. The TTD officials inspected the temple and inquired about the history of temple through its priests and measured the available vacant 25 acres on the hilltop.

The government also requested to construct the proposed temple of TTD at the hilltop and Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council deputy chairman Reddy Subrahmanyam requested the same to TTD.

Head priest of Krounchagiri temple KV Narasimha Sastry stated that the public welcomed the decision and conducted special pujas, including ksheerabhishekam, in the ancient temple.

He said  further pujas were offered to remove obstacles for the development and prosperity of AP state.
He predicted  good for Amaravati and AP state.
