Naga Chaitanya, the chocolate boy of Tollywood, is breaking a lot of hearts today as he is all set to marry his sweetheart Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The ‘it’ couple of Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have been dating since 2015 and got engaged earlier this year in a beautiful event. Born in the illustrious Akkineni family, the world of films wasn’t new to him. After all, his father Nagarjuna is a Tollywood superstar and so is his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He is also the nephew of another major star in Tollywood, Venkatesh.

One of the young guns in the industry, Naga Chaitanya made his debut in 2009 with Josh. However, the actor catapulted into fame with Yeh Maaya Chesave where he was paired with his to-be wife Samantha. The film was a massive hit earning him the image of a romantic hero.

The handsome actor’s next film 100% Love was also a major success, making him the new chocolate boy of Tollywood. The actor followed the success of his first two films with much appreciated Manam, Oka Laila Kosam and Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam. While the actor tried to shed his chocolate boy image, his ventures with other genres weren’t as successful; a few examples being Yuddham Sharanam and Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo. Nevertheless, he is an actor to look out for as he clearly proved with the remake of Premam. The remake which was heavily compared with the original and was released amid much skepticism about its appeal. However, the movie was a hit, one of reasons being Chai’s performance. Chaitanya was last seen in Yuddham Sharanam and also has Savyasachi in the pipeline.

Apart from films, Chai is also a major auto enthusiast. In fact, it is said that his cousin actor Rana Daggubati was terrified at Chai’s pace on one of their rides together. The actor is also known to dabble with the culinary world. The actor enjoys cooking and has an inclination for Chinese recipes. In a sweet gesture, the actor had rustled up a barbecue dinner for his lady love Samantha and a few of his friends recently. The pictures from the dinner went viral, giving cues for boyfriends across states!
