Arjun Tendulkar is all set to represent Mumbai in the under-19 category.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son is likely to make his debut for Mumbai in the upcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy when Mumbai face Baroda on October 9 and Saurashtra on October 10, respectively.

Left-handed Arjun is the team as its leading all-rounder.

Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA) under-19 selection committee, led by Rajesh Pawar, announced the team for the first two games and Mid-Day quoted Pawar saying that Arjun will be the team's main all-rounder, “He will be our main all-rounder. I saw a lot of improvement in his game. When we played in Baroda recently, he bowled well and during our two practice matches here in Mumbai, he bowled and batted well. I consider him as a bowling all-rounder of the team.”

Arjun has represented Mumbai in the Under-16 category in 2015-16 and has played in the 'B' division last year, but this however, will be the biggest breakthrough of his career.
