CHENNAI: Jagan Kumar, who has been associated with TVS Racing since 2009, is delighted to have won the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship six times in a row.

The sixth came last weekend. “Systematic practice, regular training and discipline helped me win the title. Plus, I always want to excel and raise the bar,” says the 29-year-old. “The effort to improve enabled me to create new marks.

In 2012 I had the fastest lap timing of 1 min 54.2sec, in 2015 I made it 1:53.9. This has given me self belief and the desire to scale new peaks,’’ he added. Jagan loves cycling, swimming and is a graduate in business administration.

He has been the FMSCI’s Best Road Racing Rider six times since 2012. “Without the support of TVS Racing I would not have been able to excel in the sport.” His next aim is to do well in at the Asian level.
