Centre for the arts in Margao soon

Panaji: A unit of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), the arts organisation which is under the Union minstry of culture, will be set up in Margao.
The state government has agreed to allot place for IGNCA at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, minister for art and culture Govind Gaude said.
Gaude said it would function as a learning centre but "Ravindra Bhavan is only a temporary arrangement".
The state government would identify land, either in Margao or Panaji, for the unit and hand it over to IGNCA, he said.
